¹⁴ And though my illness was a trial to you, it did not lead to any scorn or revulsion; rather, you welcomed me as an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself.

¹⁵ What has become of your blessedness? For I can testify that, if it had been possible, you would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me. ¹⁶ Have I now become your enemy because I have told you the truth?
